We will be taking a boat trip on the Maas together with people with disabilities
With this activity, Serve the City would like to give the residents of De Merici, part of the Philadelphia Zorg Foundation, the feeling that they are incredibly valuable and loved. Register for the Big Volunteer Day on Saturday 15th of March and give someone with a disability a wonderful afternoon full of fun, while we sail on the Maas.
We will meet at 1:00 PM at De Merici, the residential facility of Philadelphia (Grote Gracht 74) in Maastricht. Our project leader will welcome you there. An employee of Philadelphia will tell us which residents we will be inviting to the boat trip. The residents who are in a wheelchair will be helped to get to the quay of Stiphout by our team of volunteers.
The boat trip starts at 2:00 PM and lasts about an hour. During the trip we will drink coffee and have a snack. At 3:00 PM we will be back on shore and we will all go back to the Merici. The project ends around half past three. Would you like to join in and take a boat trip with people with disabilities? Then sign up quickly!
For this project, it is helpful to at least understand Dutch
and even better if you can speak it on a basic level.

1:30 PM Walk to the departure point of Stiphout
