Cancer touches us all. Will you join us in the fight?

Early birds wanted! Set your alarm early (very early), because on Saturday 10th of May the next edition of the Vrijthof Vrijthof Challenge will kick off! The Vrijthof Vrijthof Challenge starts in Maastricht and will end at the Vrijthof in Hilvarenbeek. The route for people on their mountain bikes is 165 kilometers and the route for people who walk is 100 kilometers. An amazing effort for everyone who participates!

In addition to the familiar components such as the mountain bike tour, walking route, running relay and the kids challenge, this year participants with a disability will also participate – a nice addition that we are thankful for.

The Challenge is not only sporty, but also of great social value: the proceeds go to the KWF Kankerbestrijding. The current status of the sponsorship money? Already more than €700,000 – and it is still increasing!

Start time for volunteers: We gather at 5:30 am in front of Rebelle at Kesselskade 43. After a short briefing, we will immediately roll up our sleeves.

What will you do as a volunteer?

  • Hanging flags
  • Setting up KWF flying arch and pop-up tent
  • Placing barriers
  • Guiding participants to the starting line-up at Rebelle
  • And helping clean up afterwards

We expect the first participants around 6:45 am, and we expect to be finished by 11:00 am at the latest. Of course, we will provide a snack and a drink as a thank you for your efforts.

Do you feel like starting your morning well and contributing to a great cause? Then sign up as a volunteer – together we will make it something beautiful again!

P.S. We notice that sometimes something goes wrong with the automatic confirmation of your registration. Some people get a confirmation, some don’t. Don’t worry: your registration has been received successfully! A day before the start of your project, you will receive an email from us with all the information you need.
